Community Benchmarks with BIMA

Joining us through your BIMA community? Adding your compensation data is easy using a spreadsheet upload.

Log into your account and navigate to 'Integration Setup' from the account menu (top right of the screen). If you have demo data or another integration connected to your account, click 'Disconnect'. This will allow you to select 'Spreadsheet' as an option.


Upload your data in 4 steps:

  1. Download your data from your HR platform in an .csv or 'xls(x)' spreadsheet format.
  2. Download the template from Compensation IQ (see the link on the card 'Download template').
  3. Move your HR data into the columns provided in the template.
  4. Click Upload to upload your data.

You can do this as often as you like to keep your data uptodate.

Do I have to use real names and email addresses for the submission?


No. The most important data is everything else, like the job title, salary etc. As unqiue email address is required by the platfrom, you can use a simple hack to provide something generic. For example:

Firstname Lastname Email
Name1 Surname1 name1.surname1@yourdomain.com
Name2 Surname2 name2.surname2@yourdomain.com
Name3 Surname3 name3.surname3@yourdomain.com

Use a concatenation formula to copy into the email column for all the rows:

=""& CONCATENATE(B2,C2) &"@yourdomain.com"

Notes

  1. The import sheet will not accept formulas, so after the emails are generated using the concatenation formula, copy and paste them as Values
  2. Email is required and must be unique, but it can be dummy information as shown above.
  3. Both ID columns can be left blank.
