Results Table Comparisons
12 September 2023
Our users like using the Table view in Insights to quickly scan across all questions and teams. To help find areas to celebrate or areas of concern in your feedback results, you can now compare the scores of each Indicator for a team to the overall total Organisation score. Simply click on 'Percentage point difference to Total' under 'Select a comparison' in the Table view to see the comparisons. Negative percentage point differences are shaded in red (team has scored lower than the organisation), while positive differences are shaded in grey.
Update notes (27 September 2023):
- This view can now be exported into an excel file for offline analysis.
- The comparison and exporting of the table is now also available to users (leadership teams, line managers, etc) with whom you have shared the results using a shared link.
Scoring Widget

As we create more flexibility for our users in how they design their surveys and collect employee feedback, we sadly have to move away from the 4x4 matrix view of indicators that has served us so long. We're pleased to announce a more flexible way to see a list of your indicators and scores. It will allow you to:
- Display any number of indicators that you have designed in your feedback
- See custom indicators included alongside templated indicators from the Organisational Fitness Framework and Question Bank
- Scan the list easily using our colour codes to see high and low scoring indicators
- Click the indicator and navigate directly to a breakdown of the responses.
- As with all other widgets in Results - use them to create an action, or copy to clipboard and use the image in a powerpoint deck, email, etc.
Score Tracker (Beta)

We've been working on ways to help our users track their scores over time. Score Tracker - available from the Insights screen - is now in beta and we'd love to get your feedback. Users can easily choose the survey data, filter and segments and see their indicator scores tracked over time. The Score Tracker will undergo significant change, but in the meantime, we'd love to know what you think and how you might use this.
Integrate with Staffology

Create segments in your survey results

Creating segments or subgroups of people is great for analysis. This new feature in the Insights module allows you to identify patterns or trends that might not be immediately apparent when looking at your whole organisation. You can create segments based off teams or attributes (e.g. demographics) or a combination of the both. You can also incorporate behaviours such as how employees have responded to particular questions or what key topics they are speaking about.
For example, you might want to create a segment that contains employees with tenure of less than 2 years who are considered “at risk” of future attrition. This is created by filtering your organisation by those who responded unfavourably to the question “I plan to still be working at our organisation in 12 months time” and with tenure less than 2 years.
You could already use Qlearsite’s filtering capability to analyse your results in this way. With this release, you now have the ability to save these individuals as a segment, assign them a description and easily access them for further analysis. Segments are created through filtering by teams, attributes or responses but we save the segment as a list of unique employees. Note that data privacy is maintained throughout this process. Your saved segments are recalled in the filter side panel.
There are other exciting things that you’ll be able to do with segments in the future. Keep an eye out for more release updates from Qlearsite!
View the sentiment of top themes

You can now enhance your language analysis with a new visualisation of sentiment. Presented alongside the top themes your employees are talking about, you will be able to quickly gauge whether your people are talking about a specific topic in a positive, negative or neutral way.
New layout of survey results

Survey results has a new look that is designed to help you navigate and analyse your feedback in an easier manner. Key metrics like Retention and Engagement are displayed alongside the Respondent widget, allowing you to easily breakdown your scores by demographics. Similarly, top themes and comments from open text questions can now be viewed side by side for a more cohesive experience.
The Question widget has also been improved to display the Indicator associated with the question. This will allow you to quickly establish which aspect of your organisation’s health and fitness the question was targeting.
Retention analysis

If you have collected feedback that includes the question “I plan to still be working at our organisation in 12 months time”, you will now have access to new AI-generated observations. The Retention analysis tool identifies underlying causes of preventable attrition. Using artificial intelligence, the Retention analysis tool finds the employee segments that are at risk of leaving.
These automated insights will save you hours of analysis work. The Retention analysis tool finds high-risk segments of your employees based on their responses, and automatically links them to the attributes, teams and correlated indicators. Furthermore, you can move easily from the Retention analysis view for more insights, including finding out what at-risk people are saying.
Edit the details of a survey recipient

Survey administrators can now easily edit the name or email address of a recipient, even when the survey is live. Updating an email address will trigger a new invitation to be sent to the recipient, inviting them to respond to the survey. Go to the Distribution screen in Survey Management, click 'Go to recipients list', find the person and click the pencil icon to make a change.
View comments most strongly associated with a theme

Comments can now be sorted based on how strongly associated they are with a theme, as well as their sentiment. This is to ensure that when you are drilling into the feedback that employees have written, you are seeing the most relevant comments first.
Top themes of open text questions

You can now more easily identify what employees are talking about with a new widget that shows the top ten themes of each open text question. The widget displays how many comments are associated with a theme, and selecting the theme will add it as a filter.
